Homes for Harringay (HfH) needed a dependable electrical services partner to support its in house repair service. The scope of the three-year contract included responsive repairs, voids, and disrepair programmes.
The response service incorporated an emergency 24/7/365 call-out provision, with two-hour response to a ‘make safe’ standard.
Planned works included electrical repairs and upgrades, periodic testing, inspection, and remedial works, partial and full rewires and fire alarm system repairs and maintenance.
As well as providing a response service for over 20,500 domestic dwellings, we provided electric repairs and maintenance for communal areas, residential properties and empty properties. Returning void properties to a lettable standard was essential for ensuring more local people could move into decent homes.
RGE Services was responsible for coordination, supervision, and administration of the service, including oversight of supply chain partners. We reported against agreed key performance indicators.
The nature of the contract dictated that workloads would vary substantially, notably between winter and summer months. Our flexible resourcing structure enabled us to make allowances for peaks and troughs and to offer HfH excellent value.
