The works also included rewiring of communal lighting with all fittings upgraded to LED and installation of emergency lighting throughout the escape routes.
New cabling routes are being designed as the existing routes are not practical for the new distribution equipment and system. The new design will support full regulatory compliance, including full Construction Design and Management regulations.
Eight engineers are working across the occupied block, liaising with tenants and lease holder residents to complete these works with minimum disruption and to respond to specific resident needs.
Our engineers take part in safeguarding training to ensure they meet the needs of vulnerable customers appropriately.
We are currently on schedule to complete works by the end of September, before the winter weather can impact delivery.
